Dustin Poirier predicts outcome of Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia

Former UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier believes that multi-divisional champion Gervonta Davis will have his hand raised when he meets Ryan Garcia in the squared circle.

In a recent interview with BroBible, 'The Diamond' stated that he was edging towards Davis in a potential Ryan Garcia fight just because 'Tank' has been the more active fighter among the two. He said:

"I don't know man, I would kinda lean towards 'Tank' just because he's been active and fighting you know. I don't know, I would lean towards 'Tank'."

Both Garcia and Davis are undefeated in their boxing careers so far. Garcia holds a 23-0 record while 'Tank' hasn't been bested in any of his 27 pro fights.

Although both fighters have been hinting at a potential matchup for years, the bout is yet to be made official. In fact, Davis is scheduled to take on Hector Luis Garcia this Saturday at the Capital One Arena in Washington.

However, in a tweet earlier in November of 2022, Davis confirmed that the WBC Interim lightweight champion was next in line after his January fight with Hector Luis Garcia.
