Eddie Abasolo says fight camp for Mohamed Younes Rabah war at ONE 169 has been "super smooth"

Eddie Abasolo is looking to get back in the win column when he returns on one of the biggest cards of the year.

The American never fails to bring the action inside the ring but back-to-back losses under the ONE Championship banner do not do his skill level justice.

At ONE 169 on Nov. 8, he will look to get back in the win column in order to put some momentum back in his sails.

He will have the task of welcoming Mohamed Younes Rabah up to the featherweight Muay Thai division when they collide at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

With Abasolo well underway with his preparations, everything is falling into place for the 37-year old striker.

In an interview with 4oz to Freedom, 'Silky Smooth' said that his training camp is going about as well as you'd expect from his nickname:

"Camp has been super smooth, you know. I've been feeling just the right amount of [it] every day, you know what I mean? Sprints, conditioning, pad work, bag work. Man, I'm in there. I'm in it."

Fans can expect a war between Eddie Abasolo and Mohamed Younes Rabah

There are some huge fights on deck for ONE 169 but if there's one that has bonus written all over it, it might just be the featherweight Muay Thai encounter between Eddie Abasolo and Mohamad Younes Rabah.

You only need to look at the recent performances from both men to explore what kind of fight we are going to get.

Eddie Abasolo's last outing against Luke Lessei at ONE Fight Night 19 was an absolute war, which he narrowly lost via split decision.

As for Rabah, his win and subsequent defeat to Saemapetch Fairtex both ended very quickly, but now that he's decided to move up a weight class, we will see the true extent of his potential.

This division is stacked with dangerous contenders and only one man can emerge victorious on Nov. 8.
