"I find out my kids ever disrespect a police office , they better hope they get arrested … Coming home won’t be the place to go ."
Eddie Alvarez and fans get into heated discussion on Tyreek Hill incident
Digging more into Alvarez's X account, fans are quite divided on the issue as some are outraged by the police officers' aggression while others argue that Tyreek Hill was being disrespectful and uncooperative.
One X user named Sommer was quite contentious:
"Got any bright ideas on what to do when the police disrespect your kids? Because that's happening to people who don't look like you, which is the point of the discussion."
Alvarez replied, saying:
"It’s not the point -the first words out of his mouth were “ don’t hit my window like that gang “ . Only an entitled dickhead behaves like that . I tell my kids to comply and be respectful. If That would be there best shot at not getting a ticket or arrested .. might wanna try it"
Jumping into the discussion and siding with Alvarez was @iAminvisible, who said:
"I don’t care who u are, no one has a right to start beating my property. Why is an officer aggressively knocking on the man’s window for a mere speeding violation lmao"
The incident was sorted out within minutes and Hill was allowed to leave with a ticket for speeding. He was then able to reach his Miami Dolphins game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. 'Cheetah' scored seven catches and one touchdown, which led his team to a 20-17 victory.
