Elon Musk gives one-word reaction to Joe Rogan earning gratitude of 'hippy' artists who allegedly can't support Donald Trump publicly
Episode #2228 of The Joe Rogan Experience recently drew the attention of SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. Civil rights attorney Josh Dublin was the guest on the podcast's latest installment, and he and Rogan touched on several topics, including progressive artists who allegedly support Donald Trump in secret.
Moreover, Rogan claims that these artists reached out to him to lament that they can't support the president-elect publicly due to fear of backlash. He also said he was thanked by these unnamed artists for endorsing Trump, as they feel that he is needed to steer the United States back on course.
Rogan said:
"There's a lot of people that don't speak their mind. Do you know how many artists, that have reached out to me, that are like fu**ing hippies, man, like artists, musicians, comedians, that thanked me for endorsing Trump because they can't do it. They said they want to but they don't want to be attacked. They can't say it."

Naturally, as has become the case, Rogan's claims drew the attention of Musk, with whom he has established a strong friendship. Musk has been a guest on the JRE podcast several times. Given that Musk himself is an ardent Trump supporter, he took to X with a one-word response to Rogan's claim.
"Seriously"
Both men, however, will be pleased that Trump is now the president-elect, with the UFC commentator having recently welcomed him as a guest on his podcast.
Joe Rogan didn't always endorse Donald Trump
Not long ago, Joe Rogan appeared to favor Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who briefly ran as an independent presidential candidate in the 2024 United States elections. He praised the latter as a sensible option, drawing tremendous backlash from right-wing circles, prompting him to state on X:
"For the record, this isn't an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFK Jr. as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world."
There was even a time when Rogan claimed he wouldn't want any presidential candidate on his podcast, asserting that he wouldn't want to lend assistance to anyone, including Donald Trump.
