“Everybody enjoys it ” – ‘Smokin’ Jo Nattawut reveals his motivation for putting on exciting fights

Thai star and current third-ranked ONE featherweight Muay Thai contender 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut wants to make sure that his fights are must-see television. Which is why the 34-year-old always tries his best to excite the fans with his forward aggression.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, said he feels a personal responsibility to present Muay Thai as an exciting sport for the fans watching.

'Smokin Jo' said:

"Everybody who is watching the [striking] fights in ONE, they love it. If it's my fight, everybody enjoys it and likes my style, so that's gonna help [to grow the sport] a lot."

Nattawut will get the chance to excite the fans even more in his next fight. More importantly, he gets another opportunity at ONE Championship gold.

Jo Nattawut sees big things for Muay Thai over next decade: "We can reach the highest level"

Thai star 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut believes in Muay Thai so much that he sees it becoming even bigger than MMA in the future.

He told ONE Championship:

"Thinking about Muay Thai, overall, in the next 10 years, it can be as big as [MMA] or even bigger because it's so exciting and people love watching it. I think if ONE keeps going like this for the next five to ten years, we can reach the highest level."
