Ex-UFC star Nate Diaz hypes up San Francisco 49ers as they take a Christmas Day win
Nate Diaz seems to have had a great Christmas as the former UFC star celebrated the holiday with the added glad tidings of his favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers, securing a win against the Washington Commanders by a score of 37-20.
The Stockton slugger is clearly a huge fan of the five-time Super Bowl Championship winners as he recently sported a 49ers jersey with "Diaz 49" boldly displayed on the back.
In a recent post on Twitter, Nate Diaz flexed his arms as he posted a picture of himself hyping the team's success with a caption aptly summing up his affiliation as a fan of the NFL team. He wrote:

Nate Diaz fought out his UFC contract against Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 after spending more than a decade in the promotion. Diaz defeated the former interim lightweight title holder via fourth-round submission.
His illustrious career in the world's biggest promotion saw him become one of the biggest names in MMA and his time in the UFC saw him beat fighters like Conor McGregor, Anthony Pettis and Donald Cerrone.
Chael Sonnen thinks Nate Diaz returning to the UFC is a strong possibility
After spending 15 years in the UFC, Nate Diaz made his last walk out of the octagon after beating Tony Ferguson via a fourth-round submission. The Stockton native refused to re-sign with the UFC after having some negotiating differences with the top brass of the promotion and is now a free agent.
However, Chael Sonnen thinks that there's more to Diaz's story in the UFC. 'The American Gangster' believes that the younger Diaz sibling could still make a comeback to the UFC octagon if the right opportunity, like fighting Conor McGregor, came along.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Sonnen iterated his views on Diaz's future career moves and stated:
"You want to know what Nate Diaz is going to do next?... All options are on the table, but that option is also to return to the UFC and to fight Conor McGregor... In fact, I think it’s leading the charge of what’s possible... He would not just be coming back... I think he wants to have that conversation. Yeah, I think it’s leading the way."
