Ex-UFC star takes credit for 'running' key members of Tyson Fury's family out of boxing: "Ur welcome guys"
Former UFC middleweight contender Darren Till shared his reaction to Tommy Fury removing his father John Fury from his sports business. Tommy was scheduled to fight Till in a boxing match on Jan. 18 but pulled out due to the fear of Till kicking him in the head.
'The Gorilla' slammed Fury for pulling out and asserted that he was looking for easier fights. Till ended up fighting former Bellator fighter Anthony Taylor. The 32-year-old dominated Taylor from the start and knocked him out in the sixth round.
Fury went through a difficult year in 2024 after enduring a heartbreaking separation with girlfriend Molly Mae. According to the Daily Mail, Mae sent 'TNT' a list of stipulations to win her back which included more focus on family than boxing. This was one of the reasons for Fury letting go of his father from the sports business side.
A post was made on X regarding the same:
"John Fury will no longer be a part of Tommy Fury’s sports business as Tommy gets closer to Molly-Mae. She reportedly set him a list of stipulations to win her back which included pitching in more with family life instead of focusing on his boxing matches. [@DailyMail]"
Till replied to the post and said:
"One press conference and I’ve ran Tommy & John out of boxing! Ur welcome guys!"

Former UFC fighter Darren Till compares Tyson Fury's farewell to that of Conor McGregor
Former UFC title challenger Darren Till expressed his doubt on Tyson Fury's latest retirement from boxing after suffering another loss to Oleksandr Usyk. Till compared Fury's retirement to that of McGregor, saying this farewell may not be final given the history of Fury returning to competition after making such announcements.
Fury announced his retirement after consecutive losses to heavyweight champion Usyk. Till commented on Fury's retirement and said:
"We've seen Tyson retire 15 times. So how are we meant to take this seriously? It's like Conor McGregor; Conor's retired countless times and then comes back. It's like: is this publicity? Are you telling yourself you're gonna come back in 6 months, for fighters to let go like that… It's very hard."
