Ex-UFC veteran reacts to "gross" revelations in Vince McMahon's Netflix documentary, slams "pervert" top executives

Disgraced ex-WWE chairman Vince McMahon has just been lambasted by former UFC middleweight contender Derek Brunson on X. The latter's tweets were sparked by his viewing of the 'Mr. McMahon' Netflix documentary, which investigated several of the controversies McMahon has been involved in.

Brunson shared his thoughts on the infamous pro-wrestling promoter on social media. His first tweet saw him allege that a sizable portion of top-level business executives and men in power are sexually depraved.

"Watching Mr. McMahon on Netflix. Why is a large % of top executives & icons perverts. Preying on young boys, girls & sexually assaulting people. Y'all mfers so weird. It's about time to start shaking these nerds down!"

When one fan chimed in with speculation as to why the wealthy and powerful are often linked to such harrowing incidents and crimes, Brunson dismissed it. However, the ex-UFC middleweight also contradicted his own statement that a large percentage of top executives are sexual deviants.

This time, he claimed it was a low percentage.

"I don't buy that. That's a bs excuse. It's only a low % who acts like so"

Another fan, meanwhile, claimed that due to their power, the elites are never held accountable for their actions, causing them to live as if they are beyond reproach. Brunson could only express his outrage over it.

"Sh*t so gross"

McMahon has been involved in numerous controversies throughout the years, including a historic steroid-related trial that could have seen him face considerable prison time. However, his latest scandal is the straw that broke the camel's back.

Vince McMahon is currently battling serious criminal allegations

In early 2024, Janel Grant, who previously worked at WWE under the nondescript title of 'legal administrator-coordinator,' filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon. In the lawsuit, she accused the ex-WWE chairman of heinous crimes, most prominently sexual assault and sex trafficking.

Former WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis was named in the lawsuit as one of the parties to whom McMahon trafficked her. Furthermore, a former UFC heavyweight champion who worked with WWE, allegedly Brock Lesnar, was sent sexually explicit images of Grant from McMahon to persuade him to re-sign.

The lawsuit is still ongoing, but the backlash it drew led to renewed interest in McMahon's controversial past and his resignation as TKO executive chairman.
