Exclusive: Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson isn't real and 'The Problem Child' will face someone else, theorizes Dan Hardy: "Interesting promotional activity"

Dan Hardy recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing match. The UFC vet cast doubt on the fight taking place and theorized that it could all be a publicity stunt for Paul to fight another boxer.

Paul and Tyson will throw down in the squared circle on Nov. 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Billed as 'The Baddest Man on the Planet', the bout will be streamed live on Netflix. While the two men were initially booked to fight in July, Tyson suffered a medical emergency that forced him to withdraw.

In the build-up to the fight, many pointed out that Tyson was significantly older than Paul and wasn't physically primed to face someone two decades younger in a boxing match. Given that Paul has garnered a reputation for fighting older opponents, fans have also called for the fight to be canceled.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Hardy speculated that the fight was never going to happen and that 'The Problem Child' would end up facing someone else. He said:

"Mike, bless him, is not going to be any younger no matter when this fight happens. He doesn't look as strong physically as he used to, even just a few years ago... It's an interesting promotional activity and Jake will end up fighting somebody else. I think that's ultimately what will happen."
