Experienced Anissa Meksen unperturbed by what Jackie Buntan brings to the table at ONE 169: "For me, it's not new"

Anissa Meksen has fought the best of the best throughout her decorated kickboxing and Muay Thai career. As such, the multi-time world champion is unfazed by what tricks her next opposition has up her sleeve.

The Algerian-French striking icon goes toe-to-toe with Jackie Buntan in one of four world title matchups at ONE 169 in the Lumpinee Stadium on Nov. 8.

Speaking to ONE Championship ahead of her ONE interim strawweight kickboxing world title duel, Anissa Meksen had this to say on why she isn't going to be too surprised by any tools within the Filipino-American's arsenal.

She shared:

"She is very strong, but at my level, every opponent is strong. I have faced a lot of strong opponents. For me, it's not new."

Meksen has delivered big time across four appearances on the global stage, after all, which has served as proof as to why her experience has been a trump card over the past couple of years.

'C18' starched Cristina Morales in her promotional bow and followed that up with clear-cut unanimous decision wins over Marie Ruumet and Dangkongfah Banchamek.

Unfortunately, she heads into this contest with her back against the wall after slumping to a loss on the judges' scorecards to Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom in their interim atomweight kickboxing world title tilt last December.

Knowing she needs to impress again, the French-Algerian striker should have it in her to wow the watching world when she takes to the circle at ONE 169 on Nov. 8.

Jackie Buntan not taking Anissa Meksen clash lightly

Looking to spoil Anissa Meksen's world title dream is none other than Jackie Buntan, who never falls short of entertainment whenever she fights under the ONE banner.

Unlike Meksen, though, the Boxing Works athlete believes she'll be tested like never before. With that mindset locked in, she would not take anything for granted against the decorated striking world champion.

In a separate interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Buntan offered:

"I don't take anyone lightly. Whoever wants to stand in front of me, I just view it as a completely new situation."
