"F*cking Nutty Professor a*s" - Israel Adesanya jokes about Paddy Pimblett's potential weight gain after his UFC 304 victory

Israel Adesanya shared footage of himself reacting to UFC 304 on his YouTube channel, FREESTYLEBENDER. Following Paddy Pimblett's first-round submission victory over Bobby Green, 'The Last Stylebender' joked that he would put on weight, stating:

"I got to give it up. Good job. F**k, I did not think Bobby was going to shoot."
"Now, watch him get up to 500 pounds in the next two days. F**king Nutty Professor a**."

Check out Israel Adesanya's comments on Paddy Pimblett below (starting at the 4:36 mark):

Adesanya was not the only person wondering why Green attempted a takedown, which ultimately ended up being his downfall in the bout. Pimblett will now enter the lightweight rankings for the first time in his UFC career after defeating 'King', who entered the bout as the No.15-ranked lightweight.

Leon Edwards unwilling to fight Israel Adesanya if he makes middleweight jump

Leon Edwards has teased that he would like to make the jump to middleweight at some point in his mixed martial arts career. However, 'Rocky' recently revealed that he would not be open to facing Israel Adesanya if he does make the jump to 185 pounds. Speaking with Nik Hobbs of Sky Sports, he was asked who he would like to face in the division, responding:

"I don't know. I don't care. Whoever is the champ at the time... Not Izzy, I don't want to fight Izzy. Not because I'm afraid of him, just that we've built a relationship where it would be weird to fight him. I feel like I'd have to build myself up in my brain to compete against him, but everybody else, then yeah."

It is unclear if Edwards is still planning to compete at middleweight after losing the welterweight title to Belal Muhammad via unanimous decision at UFC 304 this past weekend. Meanwhile, Adesanya will challenge Dricus du Plessis for the middleweight title at UFC 305. He will look to join Randy Couture as the only fighters to win a belt three times in the same division.
