Fan seeks UFC Hall of Famer's advice after "starting to lose vision" in right eye, the latter responds
Michael Bisping famously had a UFC Hall of Fame career without vision in one of his eyes and recently offered support for an MMA fan dealing with eye issues. This time it took place for all to see online. An X account, @selfishson began the exchange when they put out an X post, mentioning the former UFC middleweight champion.
The post read:
"Michael I am starting to lose vision in just my right eye making trivial things difficult. You won a bloody championship with one eye. I wish I had 1% of the heart and determination you have. Thank you for your years of entertainment and sacrifice my friend."
The UK mixed martial arts legend retweeted this message and Bisping responded:
"Thanks Justin. Hope it's a temporary thing for you but if it's not you'll figure it out mate. All the best."

UFC Hall of Fame peers within the modern wing
'The Count' is part of the UFC's modern wing of their Hall of Fame which honors fighters who debuted either on or after Nov. 17, 2000. Bisping certainly had a remarkable career as a former tournament champion on 'The Ultimate Fighter' as well as a defending lineal titleholder at 185 pounds. However, there are a few peers of his within this Hall of Fame permutation these days.
Other former season winners of 'TUF' have also found their place in the hall of fame including Forrest Griffin and Rashad Evans. Both of those men went on to become UFC light heavyweight champions with the latter capturing that crown from the former.
Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua is also in the modern wing of the UFC Hall of Fame following a career that saw him accomplish quite a lot. He became the 2005 Pride middleweight Grand Prix champion, and the UFC light heavyweight champion, and he has taken part in some of the best fights the sport has ever seen.
Several former UFC lightweight champions have been inducted into this portion of the UFC Hall of Fame such as BJ Penn, Frankie Edgar, and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Other names within the UFC Hall of Fame's modern wing include Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Jose Aldo, Donald Cerrone, Daniel Cormier, Georges St Pierre, Ronda Rousey, as well as Urijah Faber. Only Jose Aldo is actively competing out of those listed names although Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone has recently come out intimating that he wants to return to the UFC cage.
