Fans claim Conor McGregor has been living "in the closet" after Irishman likes suggestive video on Twitter
Rumors regarding Conor McGregor purportedly liking a suggestive video of a man on Twitter have sent the MMA community into a tizzy.
Screenshots of the likes section of McGregor's official Twitter account show that he 'liked' an explicit video featuring a man. McGregor appears to have later removed the 'like' from his Twitter handle.
Fans who've posted screenshots and other reaction tweets seemingly believe that the UFC megastar liking the video suggests that he's likely been concealing his sexual orientation.
One fan jibed at 'The Notorious' and noted the Irishman having to stay in the closet despite being incredibly rich. Responding to a video concerning McGregor's Twitter activity, the fan tweeted:
"Imagine being that rich and having to stay in the closet. He really is a bloke that likes to message blokes."
Another fan compared the supposed revelation of McGregor's personal preferences to the signature twist in an M. Night Shyamalan movie:
"@TheNotoriousMMA being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community is a shyamalan level twist! 2023 is starting off strong. #ufc"
Additionally, one Twitter user posted a video of a man photographing someone and indicated that Conor McGregor's archnemesis Khabib Nurmagomedov and his supporters would probably target him over his Twitter fiasco:
"Khabib & Co. seeing this"
Another Twitter user referenced a photograph of Khabib Nurmagomedov in a sauna bathtub with several of his male training partners. Harking back to the photo, over which Nurmagomedov has time and again been trolled, the fan wrote:
"Khabib: We only do that in sauna."
One fan jested about McGregor's long-standing friendship with Brazilian jiu-jitsu savant and Bellator MMA star Dillon Danis:
"So that’s why Dillon Danis is his boy"
Furthermore, another fan appeared to have come to McGregor's defense and insinuated that 'The Notorious' probably had his Twitter account hacked:
"Gotta be hacked"

Conor McGregor, who wrapped up his filming obligations soon after, emphasized that he'll start fight camp and will surely compete in early 2023:
