Israel Adesanya reveals why he is excited to fight Alex Pereira at UFC 281
Alex Pereira is set to take on reigning middleweight champion Israel Adesanya in the main event of UFC 281 at Madison Square Garden.
Adesanya and Alex Pereira have history as the middleweight champion's only knockout came at the hands of the Brazilian during their kickboxing days. 'The Last Stylebender' will be keen to avenge the two losses he has suffered against 'Poatan'.
'The Last Stylebender' recently spoke to YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in an interview and described his excitement:
"No matter what you do in life, there's always the element of fear, and a lot of people fold under that pressure, and this for me, this is why I thrive... The last few fights for me, I knew I was going to sass these guys, I knew I was gonna waste them... He's [Alex Pereira] not gonna try and survive, he's gonna try and come forward and take me out. That's what excites me, that's what I thrive in. I need that pressure, especially under the big lights, MSG, the whole world watching."
