Featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai bares his 'ultimate goal' in ONE Championship

ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai is already an established name within the martial arts realm. However, he is not one to rest on his laurels.

The PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym is constantly on the hunt to improve his world-class striking game, and he hopes to secure another coveted piece of gold under the ONE Championship banner in the coming years.

Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda MMA, the man dubbed a generational talent had this to say about his end goal on the global stage:

"This is just the beginning of my career. Although I'm already the Muay Thai champion, my ultimate goal is to become a ONE world champion in kickboxing."

Going on to achieve two-sport world championship status is, by no means, an easy feat.

However, Tawanchai is revered upon by the martial arts community for his ability to rise to the occasion and put on a lasting impression every time he fights. His lengthy winning streak inside the ONE Circle is a testament to his prowess.

For that reason alone, it'd be unwise for anyone to count out his chances at the featherweight kickboxing crown.

In this current form, and with the necessary upgrades, he could well be on his way to knocking the likes of Superbon or Chingiz Allozov off their perch.

Tawanchai vows to put on a show in Jo Nattawut redo

Before he dreams of two-sport glory, Tawanchai must ace his next assignment against 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut at ONE 167 on June 7.

The 25-year-old told Sportskeeda MMA:

"I don't know what will happen when the bell rings, but I can say that I'll go all out in this fight."
