Female fighter whose hair Conor McGregor pulled in front of Dee Devlin reacts to viral BKFC party video
Conor McGregor has faced criticism from certain quarters for pulling the hair of a female fighter in front of his longtime partner Dee Devlin at a BKFC party. The fighter in question has now addressed the incident.
Since being announced as the new co-owner of BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) this past April, McGregor has appeared at multiple events and promoted the brand.
McGregor attended its latest card, BKFC Spain in Marbella on Oct. 12. On the dance floor during the afterparty, the former two-division UFC champion appeared to jestingly pull BKFC women's strawweight champion Britain Hart's hair. Hart seemingly noticed it, acknowledged him, and continued dancing.
McGregor's fiancé and the mother of his children, Dee Devlin, seemed to pull him back. The UFC icon then looked to lightheartedly tug at Devlin's hair and talked to her.
The Irishman's detractors alleged that the hair-pulling was impolite. Alternatively, his supporters asserted it was done in jest and that McGregor and Hart weren't strangers.
Britain Hart took to the aforementioned Instagram post's comments section and cleared the air, highlighting that Conor McGregor's actions weren't ill-intentioned. Hart wrote:
"Dude he just loves me as a fighter and little sis and f**ks with us - he knows his loyalty- as we all do ... but super fun and was honored by his presence."

Hart also responded to a commenter who indicated that Conor McGregor's partner Dee Devlin looked "awkward" in the situation.
The American noted that Devlin "was very cool and nice," further indicating that she didn't get any negative vibe from the Irishwoman. Across multiple comments, Hart alluded to the fighters' sisterhood/brotherhood:
"Look guys - let me set it straight- as stupid as it seems; there is a world that exists where some fighters look at us as sisters and [brotherhoods] and we mess with each other - this man - has done so much for the sport AS a fighter I couldn't be luckier - my gun mates and anyone would agree ... part of the team !!! Ayyyeee"

When Britain Hart recounted motivational words from Conor McGregor
Back in August, Britain Hart spoke to The Fighting News and shed light on the praise she received from Conor McGregor.
Hart, who's a longtime member of the BKFC roster, underscored that McGregor told her she was the face of the organization:
"He said I'm the face. He says, 'You're the face, champ. You're the face of this organization.' So yeah, I'm going to own it."

Britain Hart captured the inaugural BKFC women's strawweight championship with a unanimous decision victory against Charisa Sigala in 2022. The 34-year-old has successfully defended the title thrice thus far, most recently this past August.
