Female influencer shuts down Jon Jones with scathing reminder of legal history after unprovoked social media commentÂ
Jon Jones has been lambasted by a female social media influencer after his seemingly unprovoked jibe at her. The netizen took aim at Jones' history of legal issues and suggested that he ought to make amends for them.
The influencer in question goes by the name Jenn Nniffer on Instagram. One of her recent posts featured a video, wherein she and another woman appeared to be enjoying a picnic/get-together.
Addressing the excellent arrangements they'd made for the event, the duo seemed to suggest that women are generally more organized than men. This is an oft-discussed hypothesis in the socio-cultural realm.
Former UFC light heavyweight champion and reigning UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who's expected to return to the octagon soon, took to the comments section of Nniffer's Instagram post and wrote:
"Literally, one of the lamest conversations I've ever heard."

Apparently, Jenn Nniffer noticed the comment and put up a separate video consisting of snippets from Jones' past run-ins with the law, including his 2015 hit-and-run case that involved a pregnant woman. It also alluded to the 2019 incident in which he allegedly attacked a waitress at a str*p club.
Also referenced was Jones' reported domestic abuse incident with his longtime partner, Jessie Moses. An allusion was made to his headbutting a police vehicle as well as other alleged crimes.
Nniffer wrote that Jones hasn't made any notable, sustained effort to engage in proactive measures such as public campaigns, advocacy work, or community involvement to rectify his errors. She insinuated that he must take those steps to dissuade other men, whose thoughts he impacts, from committing similar acts against women.
Nniffer noted that it'd be an interesting conversation. An excerpt from her statement reads:
"Given your past, wouldn't it be impactful to use your influence to engage in meaningful conversations about making women feel safer? I found no significant public steps taken from you aimed at addressing domestic abuse, women, or related issues beyond apologies."

Jon Jones' infamous argument with a female reporter at a UFC event
Jon Jones has faced a number of legal challenges over the years, including multiple failed PED tests and reported face-offs with female professionals. That includes a 2024 incident with a female officer of the DFSI, the UFC's current drug testing partner.
On that note, back in Dec. 2018, Jones' UFC light heavyweight title rematch with Sweden's Alexander Gustafsson was shifted from Las Vegas to California due to a PED pictogram being found in his (Jones) system. During the UFC 232 pre-fight press conference, a Swedish female reporter, Izabelle Kostic apparently questioned why 'Bones' wasn't suspended for the positive PED test.
Jones responded by mocking her, saying:
"Next question. Thank you ... Sit down. Someone take the mic from her. Better questions. Better journalism ... Better journalism. You s**k."
Check out the Jones-Kostic conversation below (25:40):
Jon Jones defeated Alexander Gustafsson via third-round KO to capture the vacant UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 232. He later apologized and implied that his aggressive pre-fight mindset caused his outburst against Kostic. Meanwhile, Kostic clarified that she had no enmity toward Jones and was simply carrying out her journalistic obligations.
