"Fight me in MMA with modified rules" - Undefeated 16-0 fighter calls out Jake Paul over latter accusing Nate Diaz of running scared

Jake Paul's criticism of Nate Diaz's refusal to accept an MMA bout with him has, in turn, earned him a challenge from another mixed martial artist. It is none other than reigning Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen, who caught wind of 'The Problem Child' accusing Diaz of being too fearful to fight him.

The aforementioned claim was made in a press conference that featured both the influencer boxing star and legendary women's boxer Amanda Serrano. Not only did he accuse Diaz of fearing the outcome of a possible MMA fight, but he also claimed that it would earn Diaz more money than any fight in his entire career.

"It's funny that Nate Diaz is actually scared to fight me in MMA, actually. The biggest payday of his life would be me and him in MMA. Yeah, so I'm ready."

This drew Eblen's, who popped up in the comment section of the Instagram post featuring a clip of Paul's dismissal of diaz. Given that Bellator is now a property of the PFL, to which Paul is also signed, Eblen called him out to a fight, as they are both fighting under the same promotional umbrella.

"@jakepaul Fight me in MMA with modified rules. We both signed to the @pflmma why not. Let's run it."

Paul, however, is unlikely to accept the bout. He is still chasing high-profile boxing matches, likely hoping for a matchup with the likes of Conor McGregor and Canelo Alvarez, both of whom he has poked fun at. Moreover, he is far too inexperienced to accept a bout with a 16-0 world champion like Eblen.

Jake Paul has been preparing for his MMA debut since early 2023

Jake Paul signed with the PFL back on Jan. 5, 2023. He is on a multi-fight contract and quickly began training, sharpening his grappling by training with Brazilian jiu-jitsu experts Mo Jassim and Michael Perez. However, he has yet to take a fight and seems laser-focused on facing Nate Diaz.

Unfortunately, Diaz's low regard for the PFL as a promotion has proved to be a stumbling block, with the Stockton icon dismissing the entire organization as beneath him.
