"Fighting resembles a lot of life" - Johan Ghazali's insightful take after one round beatdown of Josue Cruz
Muay Thai rising star Johan Ghazali gained some insight into how he can be a better martial artist after knocking out Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver.
The 17-year-old sensation discovered that he's got more than just skill and talent to help him propel his career in ONE Championship. Last Friday, he learned that he's a lot more resilient than he ever anticipated.
At the ONE 168 in-circle interviews, Ghazali shared some of the insight he gained after bouncing back into the winning column against Cruz:
"Fighting resembles a lot of life, you know. So what I'm trying to say is, when life throws sh*t at you, you know what you do? Yo throw sh*t back. And here I am."
On Sept. 6, 'Jojo' Ghazali was able to replicate the same exuberant confidence he had when he first embarked on his Muay Thai journey last year. His unstoppable punching power and unrelenting spirit is what makes 'Jojo' an exciting young fighter to watch. No matter the situation, Ghazali will do whatever it takes to destroy an opponent's morale.
So from this point onwards, winning is the only goal Ghazali has set for himself and earning himself a shot at the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title.
