Mayssa Bastos isn't taking her eyes off the big prize.
The Brazilian grappling star is set to make a giant leap in her already illustrious career when she challenges Danielle Kelly for the ONE atomweight submission grappling world title in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 24.
Taking to Instagram, Bastos said she's determined to showcase her class against Kelly on August 2, US primetime, at the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
Mayssa Bastos wrote in her caption:
"Focused on my goals. Focused on my growth. Every challenge I take is a step to become a better version of myself. Looking forward to displaying my jiu-jitsu on the biggest platforms in grappling back-to-back."

The 26-year-old has won world titles both in the gi and no-gi under the IBJJF, as well as gold under EBI and Who's Number One.
Making her ONE Championship debut at ONE Fight Night 20, Bastos dominated Japanese standout Kanae Yamada for the unanimous decision win this past March.
Bastos' career-defining world title challenge against Kelly and the entire ONE Fight Night 24 card are available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Although she's captured world titles across different organizations, Mayssa Bastos knows that taking the ONE atomweight submission grappling world title would elevate her career to new heights.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Bastos talked about what it would mean to her if she dethrones Kelly and takes the gold for herself.
