Following Donald Trump's appearance on FLAGRANT, former UFC fighter says it's time for the ex-President "to go on Joe Rogan"
Joe Rogan has a massive podcast platform and a former UFC competitor wants to see former US president Donald Trump speak on the show. Trump has been making several media appearances in his pursuit of becoming president of the United States again and he has been on the podcast circuit a fair bit as of late.
He appeared on Theo Von's podcast weeks ago and his guest spot on Flagrant with comedian Andrew Schulz has been generating a lot of buzz. A former ONE Championship welterweight titleholder and Bellator welterweight champion took to social media to indicate his interest in seeing Trump eventually feature as a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience.
Ben Askren took to his personal X platform to voice this desire and many in the subsequent tweet thread that formed underneath seemed to enthusiastically agree. In the tweet voicing his intrigue around a Rogan-Trump podcast interview, Askren said,
"It's time!!! @realDonaldTrump need to go on @joerogan. Let's make this happen."

Joe Rogan and instances where he has interviewed politicians
Joe Rogan has platformed a variety of politicians over the years, which means a chat with Trump certainly would not be an anomalous thing.
Tulsi Gabbard is a political commentator and previously served as a US representative for Hawaii's second congressional district. She has appeared on JRE previously with notable stints in recent times on episodes 2143, 2032, 1599, and 1391 to name but a few.
Rogan also had US politician and environmental lawyer Robert Kennedy Jr. on the hot seat of JRE on the podcast's 1999th installment.
Rogan has also had a repeat guest in the form of a United States representative for Texas' second congressional district, Dan Crenshaw. The former US Navy SEAL has had appearances on episodes 1630, 1454, and 1337 of JRE.
The New Jersey native has also spoken with other notable political figures such as Bernie Sanders, Andrew Yang, and Jesse Ventura. These Joe Rogan Experience appearances transpired on episodes 1330, 1245, and 858 respectively.
