Former lightweight champion pays his respect to "legend" Jim Miller as he seemingly rues never fighting 'A-10' once
Jim Miller and Rafael dos Anjos have both competed in the UFC since 2008 and have faced some of the best fighters in the lightweight and welterweight divisions. But despite both men fighting solely in the UFC for 15 years, the pair have never faced one another in the octagon.
Dos Anjos recently took to Twitter and stated that he had always envisioned himself facing 'A-10' in the cage and paid his respects to Miller. The Brazilian also noted that they have both faced seven of the same opponents in their respective UFC tenures.
Rafael dos Anjos posted:
"We’ve fought 8 guys in common. Since the beginning of my Ufc career I always thought I would fight Jim Miller. Respect to the legend... 7 actually"

Jim Miller will be opening the main card of this weekend's UFC Vegas 69 against Alexander Hernandez, set to take place at the UFC Apex. 'A-10' currently holds the record for most fights and most wins in UFC history and could extend those achievements this weekend.
Miller has faced the likes of Charles Oliveira, Donald Cerrone, Nate Diaz, and Dustin Poirier.

Jim Miller is eager to stay busy and eyes UFC 300 for final UFC bout
Jim Miller has been fighting in the UFC for 15 years, but the veteran's competitive zeal doesn't appear to have diminished in the slightest.
'A-10' has currently fought in the UFC 40 times and is eager to add another five fights to an already-impressive record.
Miller appeared in front of the media yesterday ahead of his fight against Alexander Hernandez this weekend. He expressed his eagerness to stay active until, hopefully, his 45th fight in the promotion, which he would like to take place at UFC 300.
Miller competed at both UFC 100 and UFC 200 and was victorious on both occasions.
"I said I want to get to UFC 300, I'm pretty certain at this point my body can make it... I've said that if I make it [to UFC 300] I want it to be my last UFC fight... I would like UFC 300 to be my 45th UFC fight. So that means I fight Saturday, fight in like July [again], then maybe November or March and then July again. Which is a good pace. Three fights this year, two fights next year."
