Former NFL star, who is a professional boxer now, reacts to Claressa Shields claiming she can beat Jake Paul in a boxing match

American boxer Claressa Shields recently made a bold claim that she could beat YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a hypothetical boxing match. NFL star-turned-boxer Le'Veon Bell reacted to Shields' claim.

In her recent appearance on TMZ Sports, Shields was asked about the reason behind Paul's criticism from the boxing community. She also criticized Paul, saying:

"They criticize him (Paul) because of who he picks to fight. Paul knows how to p*ss off a whole community, you know? He knows how to p*ss people off."

A reporter then posed a hypothetical question, asking if she could beat ‘The Problem Child.’ She said:

“I don't think Jake Paul has the skills to get inside the ring with me.”

@HappyPunch shared the clip on X, and now Bell has reacted to Shields' claim with a thinking face emoji:

Paul, who often faces backlash from the boxing community for the opponents he chooses, frequently selects retired boxing big names or ex-UFC fighters. In his most recent fight, he faced boxing legend Mike Tyson, where he secured a unanimous decision victory. This fight also received a lot of criticism due to the 31-year age difference between the two.

Jake Paul expresses interest in fighting Conor McGregor in an MMA bout

Jake Paul is already looking for his next opponent following his victory over Tyson and has called out UFC superstar Conor McGregor for a fight. McGregor, who typically competes at featherweight and lightweight, was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler at 170 lbs. But the fight was canceled after McGregor suffered a toe injury and pulled out.

Paul took to X to express that he would like to fight in an MMA bout without any weight restrictions, revealing that McGregor said he could fight him at 170 lbs. He wrote:

“Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t.”
