Former UFC lightweight champ picks two greatest fighters of all time
There is an ongoing debate among UFC fans as to who can stake claim to the monicker of being the greatest fighter of all time. One former UFC lightweight champion gave his selections as to who has earned that distinction.
Rafael dos Anjos decided to host his own Q and A on his Twitter account as a way to pass the time and answered a number of questions. One fan asked him who he believes to be the greatest of all time, writing:
"Who do you think the greatest of all time is?"

It didn't take very long to get a response as 'RDA' answered within a minute, which shows how confident he is with his answer. He simply replied by saying former two-division champion Georges St-Pierre and current heavyweight champion Jon Jones deserve the label.
He wrote:

Dos Anjos has competed against and defeated a who's who of legends in different weight-divisions throughout his MMA career, so opinion on who he believes is the greatest fighter of all time is one that fans will respect.

Rafael dos Anjos is definitely an MMA legend for what he accomplished during his career. He won the lightweight championship after defeating Anthony Pettis via unanimous decision at UFC 185 in 2015.
'RDA' was on an impressive run at the time as he came into the fight riding a three-fight winning streak that included wins over Nate Diaz and former lightweight champion Benson Henderson. Despite his impressive winning streak leading up to his lightweight title win, he only successfully retained his title once as he defeated Donald Cerrone via first-round TKO later that year.
He then lost his title to former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez the following year. Although he lost his title and his bout to Tony Ferguson that followed, he experienced a career resurgence after moving up to weltwerweight.
'RDA' looked impressive in his fights and seemed to have more energy, considering he didn't have to cut the extra 15-pounds. He won three straight fights against the likes of Tarec Saffiedine, Neil Magny, and former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.
