Freddie Haggerty says elder bro Jonathan Haggerty left no stone unturned for Superlek war: "The most dedicated he has been"

Jonathan Haggerty's meteoric rise to the top of the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing division has been nothing short of sensational. But, his younger brother, Freddie Haggerty, believes fans can expect an even better version of 'The General' at ONE 168: Denver.

That evening, the two-sport conqueror defends his coveted Muay Thai gold against one of the most in-form strikers on the promotion's roster, ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Their clash will headline the promotion's second on-ground show in North America inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, on September 6.

Speaking with the promotion, the younger Haggerty had this to say about Jonathan Haggerty's approach to fight camp, revealing his motivation and dedication are off the charts.

The 19-year-old shared:

"This is the best [Jonathan has] ever looked. This is the most dedicated he has been. He's never put as much work into a fight the way he is for this one. The way he's eating, too, everything. He's just got his head down."

Jonathan Haggerty is confident he'll pull one back versus Superlek

While his determination to continue his reign atop the loaded bantamweight Muay Thai division might serve as a main motivational tool, this fight also offers some form of redemption for the Knowlesy Academy and Team Underground affiliate.

The Londoner was forced to absorb a TKO loss (via doctor stoppage) at the end of round two when he crossed paths with Superlek in October 2018, courtesy of 'The Kicking Machine's' dynamite elbows and punches.

However, he doesn't look like the same fighter he once was.

With knockout power, confidence, and everything else going his way at the moment, Jonathan Haggerty knows he will have it in him to deliver big time on one of the most stacked cards of the year, ONE 168: Denver.

Jonathan Haggerty, in a separate interview with Sky Sports, shared:

"When I first fought him, I probably had 13 fights. I was basically a nobody, and I just took the fight. Now, I've got the experience, I've got both the belts, and I believe I will stop him. I will beat him for sure."
