FREE FULL FIGHT: Amir Aliakbari brings down the hammer in terrifying ground-and-pound finish of Dustin Joynson
Iranian powerhouse Amir Aliakbari has been on an impressive tear of late, winning fourth straight all in dominant fashion. Among them was his devastating first-round submission victory over Dustin Joynson in July last year.
The 36-year-old Tehran native steadily tore down Joynson right from the get-go, which culminated with the Canadian tapping out inside two minutes of the contest after being subjected to a ferocious ground-and-pound.
ONE Championship uploaded a video of the full fight of Alikabari's spectacular win on YouTube, which you could watch below:
Amir Aliakbari's victory over Joynson followed back-to-back TKO wins over Italian Mauro Cerilli and former ONE heavyweight MMA world champion Brandon Vera in August and December 2022, respectively.
His most recent victory was over former heavyweight king Arjan Bhullar back in March in Qatar, where the latter was disqualified after getting a red card for inactivity and refusal to engage in combat.
Aliakbari's four-fight ascent is a complete turnaround from his 0-2 start in his ONE Championship journey.
