FREE FULL FIGHT: BJJ legend Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida strikes at the perfect moment in crazy submission of Kirill Grishenko

Multiple-time BJJ World Champion Marcus Almeida collected his fourth straight MMA victory in August 2022 against Kirill Grishenko at ONE on Prime Video 1 when they crossed paths in a heavyweight battle inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The world's largest martial arts organization posted the full fight replay on their YouTube channel, and they wrote its video description with:

"A jaw-dropping submission ended the heavyweight MMA battle between BJJ great Marcus "Buchecha" Almeida and former ONE Interim Heavyweight World Title challenger Kirill Grishenko at ONE on Prime Video 1!"

'Buchecha' opened up the match with a solid leg kick that almost took out the Belarusian's leg. This proved that Almeida is not just a one-trick pony and does not rely on his superior grappling skills alone.

The Brazilian submission artist fired another strong kick down Grishenko's calf while simultaneously moving around to avoid any strikes from him.

Exactly one minute into the opening round, Almeida shot his first takedown attempt and swiftly transitioned into a heel hook submission, making Grishenko tap quickly and wince in pain.

Before this win over Grishenko, the American Top Team and Evolve MMA-affiliated athlete had already racked up victories against the likes of Anderson 'Braddock' Silva, Kang Ji Won, and Simon Carson.

Marcus Almeida returns to action at ONE 169 against Amir Aliakbari on Nov. 8

Following his tough loss to Oumar Kane at ONE Fight Night 23, Almeida is set to make a return on Nov. 8 against Amir Aliakbari as part of the stacked ONE 169 card, which goes down inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Apart from bouncing back from his previous setback, the 34-year-old athlete wants to move closer toward a potential world title shot if he gets the job done against the Iranian powerhouse.

ONE 169 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
