FREE FULL FIGHT: Bosnian beast Denis Puric’s bloody barnburner against British slugger Jacob Smith

The ONE Fight Night 21 card in April 2024 saw the continued resurgence of veteran contender Denis Puric and proved that he has a lot left in his professional career after securing a hard-earned unanimous decision win over Jacob Smith during their flyweight Muay Thai bout.

Puric displayed his masterful counterpunching, and it was highlighted by ONE Championship after they reposted the full match of this see-saw battle on their YouTube channel, with the description:

"Before Canadian-Bosnian sensation Denis Puric collides with ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang in a kickboxing showdown at ONE 167 on Prime Video on June 7, relive his thrilling scrap with British striker Jacob Smith at ONE Fight Night 21!"

'The Bosnian Menace' fully accepted his role as the matador in the match, as his British opponent played the role of a bull with his aggression. Puric mostly fought on the backfoot but was effective in landing countershots.

This approach by the 39-year-old contender paid off massively after he caught Smith with a solid uppercut in the second round to floor him. Moments later, he scored another knockdown to be ahead on the judges' scorecards.

Those two knockdowns were enough for the Bosnian-Canadian knockout artist to give him the win and record his third victory in the promotion.

Denis Puric's wish to face Rodtang was granted by ONE Championship by booking them in a fight at ONE 167

Following his victory over the Bad Company representative, Puric wasted no time in calling out the reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, in a match during his post-fight interview with ONE Championship commentator Mitch Chilson.

Weeks after that, his wish was granted by the world's largest martial arts organization, as they were booked in a flyweight kickboxing match on June 7 at ONE 167, which goes down inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

ONE 167 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada on June 7. The card will emanate from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
