FREE FULL FIGHT: Fabricio Andrade captures ONE Championship gold in emotional world title win over John Lineker
The rise of Fabricio Andrade through the bantamweight division in ONE Championship was nothing short of spectacular. 'Wonder Boy' looked impressive early on in his run with the promotion but a run of first-round finishes really saw him take it to a whole new level.
In consecutive fights, he stopped Li Kai Wen, Jeremy Pacatiw and Kwon Won Il all in the opening stanza which earned him a shot at the ONE bantamweight MMA world title.
Andrade's one and only setback in the division came at ONE on Prime Video 3 where unfortunate circumstances stopped him from becoming the champion.
The challenger was seemingly on his way to stopping John Lineker until an unintentional foul ended the fight in a no-contest.
When the two men ran it back at ONE Fight Night 7, Andrade made sure there was no room for error this time around, stopping his man before the final bell was needed.
Lineker put on a much better display at the second time of asking but it was still not enough to stop his fellow Brazilian knockout machine from seizing the throne.

Fabricio Andrade could still meet John Lineker again
Despite the fact that their first fight ended in a no contest, we have seen Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker share the stage for quite some time.
After Andrade was able to seal the victory in their rematch, it would have been hard to make the case for a trilogy right off the bat.
However, Lineker continues to be a huge threat in this division and was able to bounce back with wins over Kim Jae Woong and Stephen Loman.
The former champion now wants a shot at reclaiming the belt and with Andrade's first title defense seemingly around the corner, we could see them meet for a third time.
