FREE FULL FIGHT: Filipino star Danny Kingad displays incredible versatility in hard-fought win over China’s Xie Wei

Danny Kingad will look to solidify himself as the flyweight MMA division's top-ranked contender when he returns to the Circle for a high-stakes scrap with former eight-time world titleholder Adriano Moraes.

'The King' is one of ONE Championship's most decorated and well-rounded competitors in the flyweight MMA division—as evidenced by his impressive showing against Chinese standout Xie Wei.

Kingad has dropped two of his last three since coming out on top against Xie Wei, but on Friday, November 8, 'The King' could earn himself a shot at the vacant ONE flyweight MMA world title when he meets Moraes as part of a loaded ONE 169 card inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Danny Kingad seeks another shot at flyweight gold with a win against Adriano Moraes

Danny Kingad's meeting with Adriano Moraes at ONE 169 will be the second-ever showdown between the two flyweight superstars—the first coming at ONE: Legends of the World in November 2017.

On that night, 'Mikinho' came out on top via first-round submission victory to retain the ONE flyweight MMA world title.

Kingad responded to the loss by scoring six straight wins inside the Circle before seeing that streak snapped at the hands of P4P great Demetrious Johnson in the ONE Flyweight MMA World Grand Prix tournament in 2019.

Since then, 'The King' has alternated wins and losses but is still clinging to a top-five ranking in one of ONE Championship's most talent-rich divisions. If he can score a win over Adriano Moraes, Kingad could very well be in line for another shot at 26 pounds of gold.

Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE 169: Malykhin vs. ‘Reug Reug’ live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, November 8 in U.S. primetime.
