FREE FULL FIGHT: Filipino star Danny Kingad's nail-biting showdown against Aussie spitfire Reece McLaren in Manila

ONE flyweight MMA standout Danny Kingad and Australian fan favorite Reece McLaren put on an electrifying back-and-forth at ONE: Dawn of Heroes in August 2019.

With a spot in the ONE Flyweight MMA World Grand Prix final on the line, 'The King' and McLaren brought out every technique in their vast arsenal to move on to the tournament's next stage. Following a hard-fought three-round battle, Kingad emerged with a split-decision victory.

Watch their thrilling semifinal encounter, which ONE shared on YouTube:

The win over 'Lightning' gave Kingad enough momentum to go toe-to-toe with MMA icon Demetrious Johnson in the ONE Flyweight MMA World Grand Prix final in October 2019.

Despite a strong performance from the Filipino star, 'Mighty Mouse' ultimately won the ONE Flyweight MMA Grand Prix World Championship via unanimous decision.

Kingad has since split his last two assignments inside the circle, though he has a major opportunity to return to the winners' circle in just a few weeks.

At ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, Kingad will have his long-awaited rematch with former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes.

Danny Kingad has been ready for Adriano Moraes rematch

Almost seven years since he failed to dethrone Adriano Moraes for the 135-pound MMA crown in November 2017, Danny Kingad is confident in his chances of winning after extensively preparing for the rematch with 'Mikinho'.

Speaking with Sportskeeda MMA, the third-ranked ONE flyweight MMA competitor said:

"This is probably the longest preparation I've had for an opponent because it was announced more than two months before the fight. But I'm always prepared, so it's not a big deal."

ONE 169 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
