FREE FULL FIGHT: Jonathan Haggerty gets into epic firefight against Thai star Mongkolpetch in his flyweight swan song

Reigning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty said farewell to the ONE flyweight Muay Thai division in February 2022 with an action-packed battle with Mongkolpetch Petchyindee.

'The General' and Mongkolpetch went blow-for-blow throughout all three rounds. Despite a strong effort from the Thai star, Haggerty leaned on his sharp counterstriking abilities to eventually win their epic encounter via unanimous decision.

Relive the entire fight below, which ONE posted on YouTube:

After dominating then-ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao to win his first ONE world title in May 2019, Haggerty had two epic matches with Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

Though he was dethroned by 'The Iron Man' in the first bout and succumbed to a TKO in the rematch, Haggerty bounced back with unanimous decision victories over Taiki Naito and Mongkolpetch.

The British star recently revealed that he had an honest conversation with his coach, who told him that moving up to bantamweight was his best bet.

It turned out to be the correct decision for Haggerty, as he went on to win the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world championships in April and November 2023, respectively.

Rodtang makes his pick between Jonathan Haggerty, Superlek ahead of ONE 168

Jonathan Haggerty is only a few weeks away from defending the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship against ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 inside the Ball Arena.

As fans and fighters alike predict who will come out on top, ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang shared his thoughts on the matter:

"Superlek vs. Haggety is one of the biggest fights. If either makes a mistake, they'll get knocked out. Superlek cannot underestimate Haggerty, and Haggerty cannot underestimate Superlek. I'm rooting for my fellow Thai, so I want a Superlek win."
