FREE FULL FIGHT: Nong-O returns to the win column with a masterful dissection of heavy-hitter Kulabdam
Nong-O Hama continues to prove that age is just a number after bouncing back into the win column with a masterful performance against ONE heavy-hitter Kuladbdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai at ONE Friday Fights 58.
The former longtime ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king found himself in unfamiliar territory for the first time in his storied career when he experienced a series of unforeseeable setbacks within the last year.
The first setback he experienced was when he lost his coveted belt to UK superstar Jonathan Haggerty via knockout, which sparked a chain reaction throughout the entire bantamweight Muay Thai division.
Rising star Nico Carillo tested his capacity to bounce back last December, and the Thai legend still couldn't recover. But four months later, Nong-O showed his doubters that he's a lot more resilient than people think.
On April 5, 2024, Nong-O made a career-defining breakthrough by defeating 25-year-old power-hitter Kulabdam at the famed Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Thailand.
Both men took turns landing the best strikes against each other. But it was Nong-O's refined striking skills and unmatched endurance that set him apart from his rival.
After three rounds of non-stop action, Nong-O finally achieved the unanimous decision he needed to get back into the running for gold.
