FREE FULL FIGHT: Regian Eersel unleashes his terrifying power in one-shot knockout of Russian monster Dmitry Menshikov

The second world title defense of Regian Eersel's ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title was against Dmitry Menshikov during the main event of ONE Fight Night 11 in June 2023, which went down at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

ONE Championship has published the full fight replay of this showdown on their official YouTube channel and wrote the video's description:

"A swift knockout ended the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title showdown between reigning king Regian Eersela and Russian heavy-hitter Dmitry Menshikov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 11 - proudly presented by @TumiTravel"

Menshikov started the match as the aggressor and marched forward to try to back off 'The Immortal.' But the defending world champion retaliated with stiff jabs and quick counters to earn the respect of the Russian challenger.

This strategy by Eersel paid off instantly. He landed a beautiful left hook straight to the temple of Menshikov to not only remove his equilibrium but also swiftly end the match.

The Empire Club and Kuzbass Muay Thai representative failed to beat the eight-count from the referee to officially give Eersel the 46-second knockout victory and successfully retain his 26-pound golden belt.

Regian Eersel says that he was skeptical of his performance against Alexis Nicolas in their first meeting

Ahead of their championship rematch at ONE Fight Night 25 on Oct. 4, Eersel says that he was not surprised that the result of their first match didn't go his way since he felt he had an underwhelming performance.

The Sityodtong Amsterdam representative shared this during a recent interview with ChampsTalkTV, as he said:

"I thought I [won]. But, you know, I'm skeptical about my performance. So, it was no surprise that I lost. I could do better. But, in my opinion, you cannot win from a champion like that."

ONE Fight Night 25 will air live to all Prime Video subscribers in North America on Oct. 4 during U.S. primetime.
