Three-division ONE MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin claimed the undisputed ONE heavyweight MMA world championship by dominating then-reigning 265-pound MMA king Arjan Bhullar at ONE Friday Fights 22 in June 2023.
'Sladkiy' negated Bhullar's world-class wrestling skills with excellent takedown defense and kept the momentum on his side thanks to his stellar boxing abilities. Malykhin ended Bhullar's reign over the heavyweight MMA division with a third-round TKO.

Prior to winning the undisputed heavyweight MMA crown, Malykhin thoroughly dismantled Reinier de Ridder in one round to supplant him as the new ONE light heavyweight MMA world champion in December 2022.
'The Dutch Knight' and Malykhin rematched this past March at ONE 166, with De Ridder defending 26 pounds of middleweight MMA gold. Though De Ridder fared better in the rematch, Malykhin cemented himself as the first-ever three-division ONE MMA world champion via TKO in the third round.
Malykhin will look to successfully defend the ONE heavyweight MMA world championship against Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Nov. 8 inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Anatoly Malykhin dismissed Oumar Kane's striking abilities and endurance in an interview with the world's largest martial arts promotion ahead of their ONE heavyweight MMA world championship tilt at ONE 169.
The Golden Team star stated:
"He's slow, can't time punches for the life of him, and his cardio sucks. Three rounds and he's gassed, and this is a five-rounder."
