FREE FULL FIGHT: Superlek climbs the mountaintop, outclasses Daniel Puertas for flyweight kickboxing gold

In January 2023, 'The Kicking Machine' returned to the ONE flyweight kickboxing division for a temporary break from Muay Thai. At the time, the Thai superstar held promotional records of 1-1 in kickboxing and 6-0 in "The Art of Eight Limbs."
Superlek was matched up against Puertas in the ONE Fight Night 6 co-main event. There were added stakes for the action-packed matchup, as the vacant ONE flyweight kickboxing world title was on the line.
Puertas didn't have an answer for Superlek's world-class striking skills. Once the dust settled, 'The Kicking Machine' emerged victorious by unanimous decision. ONE re-posted the entire fight on YouTube, which can be seen below:
Since then, Superlek has solidified himself as one of the top strikers in ONE Championship. Over his last three fights, the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion secured highly impressive wins against ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon (Muay Thai), Takeru Segawa (kickboxing), and Kongthoranee (Muay Thai).
Superlek looks to become two-sport world champion against Jonathan Haggerty
On September 6, Superlek has an opportunity to extend his 10-0 promotional Muay Thai record and become a two-sport world champion. To do so, the Thai superstar must take out bantamweight Muay Thai king Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver.
Similar to Superlek, Haggerty is also on a legendary three-fight run. 'The General' started with a first-round knockout win against Nong-O Hama for the bantamweight Muay Thai throne. In late 2023, he returned to action and knocked out bantamweight MMA king Fabricio Andrade for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title.
Haggerty last fought in February when he defeated Felipe Lobo by third-round knockout for his first Muay Thai world title defense. The 27-year-old looks to further silence the doubters by taking out the always dangerous Superlek.
Haggerty vs Superlek will headline ONE 168 on September 6, representing the promotion's return to North America. The highly-anticipated event goes down inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, with tickets available on Ticketmaster.
