FREE FULL FIGHT: Superlek throws with pure power in dominant beatdown of Danial Williams to defend flyweight kickboxing throne

Two months after capturing the vacant ONE flyweight kickboxing world title against Daniel Puertas at ONE Fight Night 6, Superlek Kiatmoo9 was tasked to defend it against Danial Williams at ONE Fight Night 8 in March 2023.

The full fight replay of this thrilling clash between Superlek and Williams, which went down at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, was recently reposted by ONE Championship on their YouTube channel, and the video's description read:

"Before ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek challenges Jonathan Haggerty for the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title on September 6 at ONE 168: Denver, relive his first World Title defense against Thai-Aussie star Danial Williams at ONE Fight Night 8 in 2023!"

It was a back-and-forth first two rounds that saw both 'Mini T' and 'The Kicking Machine' exchange combination after combination at the center of the Circle. But during this window, Superlek was already downloading the necessary information to break Williams's defense.

And in the third frame, the defending world champion found the breakthrough with a solid head kick that sent the challenger down the canvas at the 1:28 mark of the round. Although the Thai-Aussie was able to beat the eight-count from the referee, Superlek ended his misery with a straight right-hand punch 20 seconds later to end the match via knockout.

After that victory over Williams, Superlek added five more wins to his tally to set up a gigantic matchup with reigning two-sport bantamweight world champion Jonathan Haggerty for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title in the main event of ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 at the Ball Arena in Colorado.

Ahead of his world championship bout with 'The General', who also holds the bantamweight kickboxing throne, the Kiatmoo9 Gym representative has praised the top contenders in the weight class in his recent interview with the South China Morning Post, saying that he is looking forward to facing all of them:

"I don't think it plays a factor. I don't think moving up to bantamweight for the first time and having a title shot would be a problem for me. I understand that the whole bantamweight division consists of all the top fighters. Everyone is so good, and now I move up to [face them]."

ONE 168: Denver will air live from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
