Gilbert Burns burst into laughter seeing Renato Moicano stumble while pronouncing Jiri Prochazka

UFC lightweight Renato Moicano recently left Gilbert Burns in stitches as he attempted to pronounce the name of Jiri Prochazka during a recent episode of their podcast.

Moicano and Burns host the Show Me The Money podcast, where they discuss the latest news in the world of MMA as well as feature a host of fighting guests. Recently, the Brazilian duo were on site for the UFC 303 card last weekend, which saw Alex Pereira successfully defend his light heavyweight title against Prochazka in the main event.

Prior to the action, Burns and Moicano were casting their predictions for the fight whilst live, which eventually led to 'Money' having to pronounce Prochazka's name. He briefly paused before he could even attempt to get the words out, which immediately put 'Durinho' in fits of laughter. Moicano said:

"Pereira is better than...um... [Burns begins laughing] How do you say it? Shereka? Jiri Shereka? No? Haha. Jiri Shereka. [Moicano is then told it's pronounced Prochazka]. Oh yeah, that's it. That was not even close."

Whilst the pair were all smiles and laughs on the desk, it didn't prove a night of fun for the Czech star.

After being dropped by 'Poatan' in the final seconds of the first round, Alex Pereira immediately landed a flush headkick at the beginning of the second, sending Jiri Prochazka crashing to the canvas. The bout was then waved over after Pereira followed up his kick with some heavy ground and pound.

Chael Sonnen reacts to Jiri Prochazka's loss to Alex Pereira at UFC 303

Chael Sonnen has stated that Jiri Prochazka must change his attitude, following his second round TKO loss to Alex Pereira at UFC 303.

After coming up short against the Brazilian once again, 'Denisa' took to social media to tell fans that he must start to evolve as a fighter and improve, or he'll walk away from the sport.

Sonnen has since weighed in on Prochazka's comments and disagreed entirely. According to 'The American Gangster', evolution as a fighter is a natural process, which shouldn't be dictated based on the outcome of fights. He said:

"Jirí Prochazka, already talking to fans, already doing some weird Jiří stuff… being a baby. He says he has to evolve or he’s gonna quit, and that’s a very interesting statement. If anything, that’s basic biology 101…you either evolve or you don’t. It’s a very dangerous game. In theory, you do want to evolve and grow, it’s just an interesting game in practice…When you lose a contest, you can’t decide that’s the time to change things. You can’t be outcome-based, it’s a big mistake, the champs don’t make it."
