Glover Teixeira opens up on meeting Sadhguru and impact of Inner Engineering ahead of UFC 283
Glover Teixeira seems to have found inner peace through Sadhguru's (real name, Jaggi Vasudev) inner engineering.
In a video shared in a Twitter post by the official ISHA Foundation USA account, No.2-ranked light heavyweight and upcoming title challenger Teixeira opened up about his meeting with the famed spiritual guru.
Glover Teixeira said that he experienced "a big change" in his life upon his encounter with Sadhguru.
Here's what Glover Teixeira said in the video:
"People ask me all the time, what was one of the greatest moments in my life? And I'm going to say, in my life or in my career? Because, in my career it would be the UFC belt, but in my life it would definitely [be] being surrounded over here [at ISHA] for four days."
Teixeira went on to speak about his experience at the foundation, saying:
"It's a different vibe over here. All the volunteers are just like, all super happy, super helpful and it's just amazing. That's why I [came] here. I've been meditating for quite a while and after I started meditating, my life is just better. You know, just reading [Sadhguru's] books. There's a big change in my life [now]. I live in the present moment. I've reached so much further in my career.

Glover Teixeira will take on surging No.7-ranked light heavyweight contender Jamahal Hill for the vacant title in the main event of UFC 283 this weekend.
Going into the fight, the former light heavyweight champion has a UFC record of 16-6 and an overall MMA record of 33-8.
UFC 283: Will Glover Teixeira be able to win the title once again?
Glover Teixeira has been a top contender on the UFC's second heaviest roster for a long time now. After previously falling short of the title, the Brazilian became champion in October 2021, but failed to record a defense.
Teixeira will get the chance to regain the belt against surging light heavyweight contender Jamahal Hill at UFC 283 this Saturday.
Teixeira was booked originally for a rematch with now-former champion Jiří Procházka at UFC 282 last month. However, the Czech fighter was forced out of the bout due to a shoulder injury.
A contest between former champion Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev was elevated to the main event, with the vacant light heavyweight championship on the line.
The bout between Blachowicz and Ankalaev was declared a draw, leaving the light heavyweight title without an owner once again.
Following the fight, at the post-fight press conference, Dana White declared that Teixeira would fight Hill for the vacant light heavyweight championship in Brazil.
Teixeira has shined the most when people have counted him out. He put an absolute beating on Anthony Smith, who was the betting favorite going into their bout at UFC on ESPN 29. He even submitted what seemed like an unstoppable Jan Blachowicz to win the title, another fight he was branded an underdog.
Though Jamahal Hill has the makings to become a dominant champion, Teixeira can never be counted out.
