Mayssa Bastos looks to be the first athlete to beat Danielle Kelly in ONE Championship

Aside from seizing the golden opportunity and becoming the new undisputed ONE atomweight submission grappling world champion, the Brazilian superstar is also looking to be the first athlete to hand Kelly her first defeat under the world's largest martial arts organization.

Four previous opponents (Mei Yamaguchi, Mariia Molchanova, Ayaka Miura, and Jessa Khan) failed to solve the puzzle of the Silver Fox BJJ representative, and Bastos looks to be the first one to do so.

Currently, the Art of Jiu-Jits-affiliated athlete has a win under the ONE banner, when she unanimously beat Kanae Yamada in her promotional debut in March 2024 at ONE Fight Night 20.

ONE Fight Night 24 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America on August 2 during U.S. primetime.
