“Going to set up the chain of wins” - Danial Williams confident Banma Duoji victory will kickstart another victorious run in ONE
After climbing back into the win column at ONE Fight Night 25, Danial Williams is determined to string together a few W's in hopes of becoming a title contender once again.
'Mini T' delivered a strong showing inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok earlier this month, besting Chinese standout Banma Duoji in an entertaining three-round affair to bag his first win of 2024. The victory moved him to 4-2 in mixed martial arts competition and snapped a three-fight losing skid for the three-sport superstar.
Speaking with Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Williams believes his win over Banma is just the beginning of a new win streak inside the Circle.
"Ranks somewhere in the middle," Williams said. "I guess. Like, you know, just the beginning of the next new streak. That's what I believe. So, I'll look back at this win as probably be one of my best wins because it's going to set up the chain of wins now."

Though most of his fights contested under the ONE Championship banner have been MMA, Williams is chomping at the bit to take another fight in the art of eight limbs.
"I like this weight class at flyweight. I think I fight better at it in MMA. So yeah, a lot of changes, but I just want to do MMA later and I just want to do Muay Thai fights now and just put an absolute highlight reel and then make the time for the MMA."
Danial Williams has not fought in Muay Thai since his promotional debut all the way back in April 2021 when he went toe-to-toe with 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon. Though 'Mini T' went the distance with the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion, he came up short on the scorecards.
Is it time we see Williams run it back with Rodtang?
