Gordon Ryan posts screenshots of unanswered DMs to expose Dillon Danis' lie on Ariel Helwani's show
Gordon Ryan recently slammed Dillon Danis for allegedly lying while live on air with Ariel Helwani on the journalist's podcast.
Danis was recently a guest on The MMA Hour and the polarizing MMA personality narrated a story about him turning up to fight Ryan outside his gym. He alleged that Ryan escaped so as not to face the Bellator fighter.
However, Gordon Ryan took to Instagram to provide his version of events and rectify the apparent fabricated story. The multi-time ADCC champion posted screenshots of his conversation with 'El Jefe' after the incident and posted a scathing caption explaining his side of the story:
"Imagine lying about something when you know there are receipts? What actually happened was Dillon came to the gym when he knew I wasn't there... Then never showed up again after I gave him my schedule... Maybe when the guy you're talking about has more ADCC medals than you have ADCC wins you should just shut up... Mf left me on "read."

Gordon Ryan recently competed at the UFC Fight Pass Invitational 3 event, held at the UFC Apex on December 15. The grappling event saw some of the world's greatest submission grapplers go head-to-head for a $25,000 prize.
'King' went up against Nick Rodriguez, whom he defeated in overtime via the fastest escape time.
Dillon Danis accuses Gordon Ryan of using steroids, calls him a "juice head"
Gordon Ryan is widely known as the greatest no-gi jiu-jitsu artist of all time and the 27-year-old's unparalleled dominance in the sport and mastery of techniques has seen him win multiple world championships in some of the biggest competitions.
However, Dillon Danis is not a fan of Ryan and the two have a tumultuous history. They fought each other in 2017 and while 'King' won via decision, Danis refused to accept defeat. However, Ryan has called out the Bellator welterweight since.
In the same interview, Dillon Danis responded to the callout while making some strong accusations against Gordon Ryan. He said:
"He just talks s**t. First off, anything that Gordon has done in his career doesn't mean anything... He is f**king juiced to the gills. It doesn't matter, nothing he does... He is just a juice head. He's not that good. Why do you think he's not doing MMA? He can't pass a drug test... I can test USADA tomorrow or today, let's see if he can."

Dillon Danis last fought at Bellator 222 in 2019 and has a 2-0 record in professional MMA. 'El Jefe' will be facing YouTuber KSI in a boxing match on January 14, 2023.
