"Great representation of UK Muay Thai" - Fans glad British superstars Jonathan Haggerty, Liam Harrison buried the hatchet
ONE Championship fans are grateful to have witnessed British Muay Thai cornerstone Liam Harrison and ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty put their long-standing rivalry behind them.
In an interview with Sky Sports' Nik Hobbs shared on Instagram, 'The General' explained how he and Harrison made peace when they met backstage at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 inside the Ball Arena:
Fans applauded the United Kingdom stars in the comments section:
"Great representation of UK Muay Thai from legends @liambadco and @jhaggerty_ classy ππ»"
"Fairplay too THE GENERAL π Harrison deserves his legend statusπ"
"Defo a living legend ππππ₯"
"Great to hear thisπ"
Haggerty and Harrison had been throwing shade at each other over the years, and fans hoped they would settle their differences under the ONE banner.
But now that their rivalry is over, it would not be all that surprising to see Haggerty potentially spend time under Harrison's tutelage for his future bouts as the former looks to carry the torch that the latter held for so long in the Art of Eight Limbs.
