Guram Kutateladze references famous Conor McGregor one-liner reacting to Payton Talbott's take on UFC's top bantamweights
Payton Talbott took part in a short video where he was asked to share his thoughts on the current crop of UFC bantamweights. Naturally, this drew a reaction, though not from another 135-pounder. Instead, it was Georgian lightweight Guram Kutateladze, who had something to say.
The clip was shared on Instagram by ESPN MMA, and consisted of the interviewer throwing names at Talbott, with the surging bantamweight referring to UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley as 'pretty boy,' and describing Merab Dvalishvili as 'dumber than a box of rocks.'

Others included Cory Sandhagen, who he referred to as 'Salad Fingers' as a nod to the lanky, long-fingered British animated character that briefly went viral on YouTube. He also compared former champion Petr Yan to Hasbulla, called Marlon Vera an owl, Henry Cejudo the 'Cringe King,' and José Aldo as Mr. Potato Head.
Kutateladze popped up in the comment section of the post, echoing an all-time great one-liner once said by Conor McGregor to Jeremy Stephens.
"Who da fook is that guy"
Talbott is scheduled to fight at UFC 303 later this evening, opening the preliminary card with a bout against Yanis Ghemmouri. The bout is of importance for the two bantamweights, especially Talbott, who will hope to continue winning and work his way into ranked territory.
The 25-year old is currently undefeated, having taken part in 8 fights, winning them all. He is also a prolific finisher, with six wins by knockout/TKO, and one win via submission. He has only ever gone to decision once.
Payton Talbott recently defeated a high-profile bantamweight
While Payton Talbott has not yet faced a ranked bantamweight, he did face a then high-profile bantamweight in South African phenom Cameron Saaiman. At one point, Saaiman was in a position similar to Talbott's as a young, undefeated fighter with an 8-0 record. Unfortunately, the South African was TKO'd by Talbott.
Check out Talbott vs. Saaiman:
The pair met at UFC Vegas 89, with Saaiman still considered a high-potential prospect despite his prior loss. However, Talbott would not be denied, hurting the South African 135-pounder several times, before securing the stoppage in round two.
