“Haggerty is in great form” - Liam Harrison says Jonathan Haggerty is ‘a very dangerous young man’

British Muay Thai icon and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison of the United Kingdom has made it painstakingly clear that he isn't fond of fellow Englishman 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty as a person.

But the striking veteran says that hasn't diminished his respect for Haggerty as a fighter.

Speaking to Sky Sports MMA Club in a recent interview, Harrison gave Haggerty props for his body of work, and says he's looking forward to seeing 'The General' defending his belt against Superlek in September.

'Hitman' said:

"I think he’s a very, very dangerous young man, he’s an exciting fighter to watch. I think his fight with Superlek is going to be insane and we’re going to see what he’s really made of here. Other than the Rodtang fight, this is the first elite-level guy who’s in their prime, who’s a real killer so I’m looking forward to that fight. Haggerty is in great form, Superlek is in great form, you’re going to get an explosion."

Haggerty is set to defend his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai gold against flyweight titleholder 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver.
