Shortly after making his UFC debut at UFC Vegas 36 against Luigi Vendramini, Pimblett's social media handles witnessed an upsurge by virtue of his eccentric personality and dynamic fighting style. In the past, he has responded negatively to critics and internet trolls and has been banned from various social media networks. Two of Pimblett's Instagram accounts have been disabled in the past, and his Twitter account has also been suspended.

Paddy Pimblett is also infamous for his "eating disorder" and putting on extra weight following his fights. A few weeks after his victory against Jordan Leavitt at UFC London, 'The Baddy' stated that he had hit 200 lbs. Even UFC President Dana White expressed concern with the fighter's weight fluctuations between bouts. He claimed that it has made it difficult for the organization to schedule bouts for the Liverpool native.

Pimblett has also achieved notoriety for his comments about fellow fighters. The Scouser and fellow British fighter Muhammad Mokaev have genuine disdain for each other. It all began in 2018 when they engaged in a heated Twitter exchange. Pimblett made derogatory remarks about Mokaev, an English MMA fighter of Russian descent, for donning the English flag.

How could any MMA fan forget Paddy Pimblett's recent bashing of MMA reporter Ariel Helwani alongside Dana White, who shares a mutual contempt for the Canadian journalist? Paddy Pimblett began his rant against Ariel Helwani by stating that discussions over fighter salaries are controversial, saying that a fighter's brand value is the most important component in determining their salary. Helwani responded with an hour-long segment on The MMA Hour, in which he presented substantial information to back up his position.

Paddy Pimblett spars with internet troll in response to jibes on social media

Paddy Pimblett recently uploaded a video of himself sparring with "an internet troll" in response to online censure. After weeks of irking from a particular fan on Pimblett's social media, the UFC star offered him £500 if he could "survive" unlimited rounds in the gym with him.

Surprisingly, the troll agreed to the bout, only to be schooled by Pimblett. The 27-year-old uploaded footage from the sparring session on his YouTube channel and commented:

"This kid has been on my posts for the past week or two just talking s**t. Give him his due, he's got a set of cajones because I said to him if he doesn't quit I'll give him £500. I can't even remember what he was saying because I have so many people talking s***. He'll get a little lesson but I am only going to play with him."
