Oumar Kane thanks his uncle for being father-figure after death of his dad at an early age
Kane's four-fight win streak has earned him the opportunity for the ONE heavyweight MMA world title, and he is now scheduled to face the reigning three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin in the main event of ONE 169 on Nov. 8.
In his most recent interview with ONE Championship, the 971 MMA and Black Panther Sports representative shared that his uncle has been taking care of them since the death of his father, saying:
"My dad died when I was still young. After that, my uncle has taken care of us ever since. Yes, my uncle is very, very nice. He taught me everything. Before, when I had nothing, he would give me money, take care of me, my mom, my brother, and my little sister. He's a good uncle."
