“He is coming to my next fight” - 'Reug Reug' says uncle will be in attendance for his world title clash with Anatoly Malykhin
Senegalese wrestling sensation and ONE world title challenger Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane says his next fight is a special one, not just because he is competing for the ONE heavyweight MMA world title but because his family will be watching, including his uncle.
'Reug Reug' lost his father at a young age, and it was his uncle who took care of him since then. He credits a lot of his success to his uncle and says he would not be where he is in his career if not for the support his uncle provided him.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, 'Reug Reug' talked about how excited he is to have his uncle and his family there for him sitting ringside, for the biggest fight of his professional MMA career thus far.
The Black Panther Sports / TRIPL3 MMA representative said:
"He is coming to my next fight. My family is going to come to watch the fight and everything."
'Reug Reug' added:
"I come from a family of wrestlers. My father, my grandfather, everyone wrestled. Even my big brother. It runs in the blood."
Needless to say, 'Reug Reug' will have to be at his absolute best when he steps into the ONE Championship ring this weekend.
