"He hasn't got the b*lls" - Ian Machado Garry issues scathing response to "little b*tch" Kamaru Usman's Conor McGregor-esque retort

Kamaru Usman recently fired some shots at Ian Machado Garry after being questioned about a potential fight between the two. The Irishman wasn't happy about the former welterweight champion's words and issued a fiery response.

For context, in an episode of the Pound 4 Pound podcast with Henry Cejudo, Usman was asked about possibly fighting Garry in the future. Usman recalled Garry's trash-talking before his recent Shavkat Rakhmonov fight at UFC 310 and referenced him firing shots at other welterweight juggernauts, saying:

"Does he even deserve that? Leading up to the fight [Rakhmonov vs. Garry] there was a lot being said... 'Everyone's running from me. These guys are running from me.' I don't run from no one... Who are you that I, of all people, am scared of you? I guess he was upset... Who the f**k is that guy?"

Not one to take it sitting down, Garry issued a response during an interview with Ariel Helwani and slammed "little b*tch" Usman for picking selective fights to maintain his ranking. He stated:

"I believe Usman is very, very selective with the way he match-makes. I believe he's going to be very cautious in his choosing of who he wants to fight, because he's well aware the relevancy he has with his ranking right now will plummet down... I don't believe he wants to step into the octagon with me in any way, shape, or form... Kamaru Usman, in my mind, is a little bitch, and I don't think he'll ever step into the octagon with me."

Chael Sonnen on Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Ian Machado Garry at UFC 310 this past weekend

UFC icon Chael Sonnen recently shared his thoughts on the Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Ian Machado Garry fight at UFC 310 this past weekend. While Rakhmonov beat Garry via unanimous decision after five rounds of action, Sonnen believes the Irishman won several brownie points despite the loss.

In a recent YouTube video, Sonnen explained his standpoint and outlined how he saw the fight playing out. He said:

“Ian Garry physically did some things extremely well. Every time Rakhmonov closed the gap and got his hands on Garry, Garry backed up... It was a big deal and Ian Garry won in several categories. Rakhmonov has never lost a position, you can’t say that anymore. Rakhmonov has never lost a round; I don’t know who those judges gave the fifth round to; I couldn’t hear; I bet they gave it to Garry, though." [H/t: Middle Easy]
