“He hasn’t been beaten” - Jonathan Haggerty looks to be the first to crack Superlek puzzle in ONE Championship
Reigning and undisputed ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty of the United Kingdom is stepping into his toughest test in ONE Championship to date, and he fully expects to exact revenge against Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Superlek defeated Haggerty by technical knockout in 2018, in his own backyard in London. And the 27-year-old can't wait to prove he's the better man six years later.
Speaking to Sky Sports MMA Club in a recent interview, Haggerty laid down the magnitude of his showdown with Superlek.
'The General' said:
"He’s got the same style. He’s obviously on the biggest stage now, he’s used to the big audience, the big stage, and he has been beating everyone. Coming into this fight, I feel that he’s confident, he hasn’t been beaten in ONE, and he’s gonna be well up for the battle. I’m excited."
Haggerty and Superlek go to battle at ONE 168: Denver, The event broadcasts live from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado on Friday, September 6th.

Bantamweight Muay Thai king 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty believes he's watched Thai icon Superlek Kiatmoo9 fight enough to know exactly what he's getting into at ONE 168: Denver.
The two elite strikers are expected to put on a show at the Ball Arena in September.
He told Sky Sports MMA Club:
"He’s just a great fighter, you know. Growing up, I used to watch him fight. He’s got all the weapons, to beat anyone in the world. He’s beaten everyone, so it’s up to me now to make sure he doesn’t beat me. That’s it."
